By accessing the website, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit an application.

Additional terms may apply to future accounts, dashboards, promotions or services. A separately signed publishing administration agreement will control if it conflicts with these website terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you act for an artist, writer, publisher, company or other rightsholder, you represent that you have authority to act for and bind that person or entity where applicable.

An application is a request for Sonet Music to review information. It does not oblige Sonet Music to accept a catalogue, provide services, collect royalties, reserve capacity, continue discussions or enter into any agreement.

No publishing administration, agency, fiduciary, partnership, employment or other client relationship begins until both parties sign a separate written agreement. Applying does not transfer ownership of a song, recording or other right.

You represent and warrant that all information you submit is complete, accurate, current and not misleading, and that you have authority to provide it. You must promptly correct material errors and disclose relevant changes, disputes or restrictions.

For all music, links, data and other material you submit or ask Sonet Music to review, you represent and warrant that:

• you own or control the relevant rights, or have written authority from each relevant rightsholder;
• the material does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, moral, contractual or other rights;
• all samples, interpolations, featured performances, adaptations and third-party material are properly cleared where clearance is required;
• all writer, publisher, ownership, split, territory and affiliation information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
• the submission does not conflict with a publishing, administration, management, label, distribution or other agreement; and
• you will promptly disclose any ownership dispute, competing claim, restriction or threatened claim.

You, not Sonet Music, remain responsible for the legality, authority, accuracy and rights status of submitted material.

You grant Sonet Music a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free permission to access, view, reproduce internally and share with authorised advisers or service providers the information and linked public material solely to assess the application, communicate with you, prevent fraud and protect legal rights.

This permission ends when it is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes, subject to legal retention and claims requirements. It does not transfer ownership or grant publishing administration rights.

Sonet Music may, at its discretion and without prior notice, reject or close an application, end discussions, restrict or terminate access to the website, suspend a future account, remove submitted material from its systems where practicable, or discontinue any part of the website.

Sonet Music may take these actions for any lawful reason, including suspected breach, inaccurate information, rights disputes, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal or regulatory requirements, reputational risk, operational capacity, a change in services or a business decision. Sonet Music is not required to disclose internal selection or risk-assessment reasons except where law requires it.

This section does not give Sonet Music a right to terminate a signed publishing administration agreement outside the termination provisions of that separate agreement.

You may withdraw an application at any time by emailing hello@sonetmusic.com. Withdrawal ends the review but does not require immediate deletion of records that must be retained for security, legal obligations, rights disputes or legal claims.

Submitting an application does not create a payment obligation. Any commission, collection period, territory, term, post-termination rights, fees or other commercial terms must be stated in a separate signed publishing administration agreement.

The public application form is intended for basic information and public profile links. Do not submit unreleased audio files, identification documents, payment information, passwords, trade secrets or highly confidential information unless Sonet Music has requested it through an approved secure channel.

Information submitted without a separate confidentiality agreement is not governed by a duty of confidentiality beyond applicable privacy law and Sonet Music's ordinary internal handling practices.

The website, design, text, graphics, logos, tools and original content are owned by Sonet Music or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership is transferred to you.

You may view and use the website for personal or internal business evaluation. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or create derivative works from website content without permission, except where law permits.

You must not use the website unlawfully, impersonate another person, submit malicious code, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or monitor the website at scale, overload the service, send spam, conceal fraudulent activity or violate another person's rights.

Sonet Music may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with courts, regulators and law-enforcement authorities where legally permitted or required.

The website may link to or rely on third-party services, including hosting, email, form delivery, Spotify and Instagram. Sonet Music does not control their availability, content, security, terms or privacy practices and is not responsible for them to the extent permitted by law.

If you believe material on the website or submitted through it infringes your rights, email hello@sonetmusic.com with your identity, the work or right concerned, the relevant location or link, the basis of your claim and supporting evidence.

Knowingly false or materially misleading notices may create liability. Sonet Music may remove or restrict disputed material while reviewing a claim without admitting liability.

You must comply with applicable anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering, export-control and economic-sanctions laws. You must not use the website or future services in a way that would cause Sonet Music or its providers to breach those laws.

Website content is general information and is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. Royalty examples and calculator outputs are illustrative estimates and may not reflect actual ownership, rates, deductions, matching, collection timing or society rules.

You should obtain independent professional advice for your circumstances.

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonet Music does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete or suitable for a particular purpose, or that information and estimates will be accurate or current.

Sonet Music does not guarantee acceptance, registration timing, data matching, royalty collection, payment amounts or future earnings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonet Music is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, lost opportunities, lost profits, lost data, third-party platform failures, or decisions made from illustrative website content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by law, you will reimburse and protect Sonet Music against reasonable third-party claims, losses, liabilities and costs arising directly from your breach of these terms, lack of authority, inaccurate rights information, infringement by submitted material or unlawful use of the website.

Sonet Music will give reasonable notice of a claim and will not settle a claim imposing a non-monetary obligation on you without your consent. Consumer protections and other mandatory law remain unaffected.

You agree that applications, confirmations, notices and other records may be provided electronically. You are responsible for maintaining an accurate email address and retaining copies needed for your records.

Sonet Music may assign or transfer its rights and obligations relating to the website as part of a restructuring, sale, transfer of business or service-provider arrangement, subject to applicable law. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without written consent.

Sonet Music is not responsible for delay caused by events reasonably beyond its control. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue and the affected provision will apply to the maximum lawful extent.

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning website use and applications, but not any separately signed client services.

These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. Lithuanian courts have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim elsewhere or receive stronger protection under the law of their residence.

Sonet Music may update these terms prospectively by publishing a revised version and date. Material changes will apply from publication or another stated effective date.
